Amilie Pointe shoes - Soft shank
The Amelie Soft is an introductory pointe shoe, designed especially for dancers with less developed muscles in the feet and legs, who might be new to pointe work. The shoe is more flexible than Amelie and caters to a variety of foot shapes.
The medium-sized graded shank allows the foot to roll up onto pointe with ease and emphasises the line of the instep, while the angled platform stabilises the foot
The gently curved sides of the box encourage the foot into correct alignment when en pointe
- The shallow box encases and supports the toes laterally
- Elastic drawstring draws the shoe around foot
- Slightly V shaped vamp and shallow box (which gently curves at the sides) support the toes laterally and keep the foot in correct alignment en pointe

- Noise reduction under the pleats

- Get a ruler, pen, and piece of paper.
- Place the piece of paper flat on the ground and stand on it.
- Make a mark behind your heel and another in front of your longest toe.
- Measure the distance between the two lines in inches or centimeters.
- Add 0.5-0.7 cms for toe pads to original measurements

Description
The Aspiration pointe shoe is specially designed for Indian dancers when 'en pointe' to give the feeling of being elevated up out of the shoe and held away from the floor. The shank/insole has an extra board shortened under the metatarsal which provides stability and support however this extra strength in the shank/insole does not extend to the heel. This makes it a perfect choice for any dancer who is starting with pointe work to advanced dancers who have been doing pointe for a while now. This allows the foot to arch at the three/quarter point with the heel being able to arch away from the foot. The platform is both high and wide to allow maximum balance when 'en pointe'.
